Terms of Service

⚠️ Working document. A full, legally reviewed English translation of the Terms of Service is being prepared. In case of discrepancies between languages, the Polish version at /terms.html is the binding version.

These Terms of Service govern the use of the SplitFlow application ("the App", "the Service") provided by SplitFlow sp. z o.o. ("we", "us").

Summary of key points

Free to use. Core expense-splitting functionality (unlimited events, expenses and participants) is and will remain free. SplitFlow Pro is an optional paid subscription with additional features (receipt scanning, adventure map, PDF export, Couple Wallet, and more).
User content. You retain ownership of the data you add (event names, expense entries, receipt photos). You grant us a limited licence to process this data in order to provide the Service.
Age. The Service is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.
Payments. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play according to their respective terms. Refunds are subject to the platform's refund policy.
Availability. We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
Termination. You may delete your account at any time — see Delete account for the procedure. We may suspend accounts violating these Terms.
Liability. The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
Governing law. Polish law. Consumer disputes may be resolved through the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
